Scope
To develop an enterprise wide reporting strategy that enables timely decision-making across the enterprise, focused on mission areas, by making available reports and other information products, using flexible, reliable, easy-to-access, portable data to the right people and systems in their preferred format.
This strategy addresses the infrastructure, architecture, flexibility, accessibility, data extraction and report creation/delivery efforts.
Expected Value
A well defined reporting strategy will provide the basis for implementing the sound governance, solutions and roadmap that meet NIH’s business goals and objectives. The reporting initiative will provide integrated business information to support multiple reporting needs, and make access to information easier and provide more flexible and agile reporting solutions.
2008 1st Quarter
OCITA will work and coordinate efforts with multiple stakeholders to develop a charter for the reporting initiative that includes the definition of an integrated and strategic approach to reporting that supports decision making, compliance and external stakeholder needs.
